Here are a few projects I've invested too much time into.
STORIES AND SOUNDS
A Musical Storytelling Vanity Project
In 2016, I collaborated with some excellent musicians from The New School for Jazz to create An Evening of Stories and Sounds with Chandler Dean, a show where I wrote adaptations of true stories that we put to original music. We performed the show at The New School in New York as well as Bohemeo's in Houston. Stay tuned for more stuff like this soon!
CARPETBAGGER AT BIRTH
A Comedy Senior Recital
In an effort to fulfill the Honors Thesis requirement for Fordham College at Lincoln Center, I wrote, produced, and performed a comedy variety performance called "Carpetbagger at Birth: A Comedy Senior Recital." Under the mentorship of Jim Jennewein, I put up the show at PIT Striker in April of 2018, and, well, I graduated didn't I?
THE DAILY SHOW WEEKLY
A Podcast to End All Futility
Since January of 2017, on a twice-weekly basis, I have found a corner to loudly record a Skype call with Vic Shuttee chronicling our efforts to watch every single episode of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. As of July 2019, we have completed the first 4 of 17 years. Please, someone come up with a compelling reason for me to quit.
